Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is the planned date for the naming ceremony for the 7th Astute-class submarine.
This question was answered on 19th December 2016
The date for the naming ceremony of the 7th Astute Class submarine is not planned to be scheduled until nearer the time of its handover to the Royal Navy, which is expected to be in 2024.
