Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they intend officially to recognise the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Chain Home radar system later this year.
This question was answered on 14th March 2018
This year will mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force and while the role of Fighter Command in the Battle of Britain will be commemorated, there are no plans to recognise the specific role of the Chain Home radar system within it.
