To provide a parliamentary forum for the discussion of all matters of food education in schools and other settings; to push the issue of school food up the political agenda on a cross-party basis; and to provide a forum through which external organisations concerned in matters related to school food, child hunger and food education can share best practice and establish shared positions and priorities.

Note: All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal, cross-party groups formed by MPs and Members of the House of Lords who share a common interest in a particular policy area, region or country. APPGs have no official status within Parliament.
